Scouted by our own Phillip Nicholson, Alia "Li" Pierre, the young poet behind the message of this powerful piece that is inspired by police brutality and the need for change in the judicial system, strives to get the message across to all who have suffered and those who wish to bring an end to police brutality. With the beautiful vocals of  Carla G singing "Strange Fruit" and the eerie inaudible scenes that combine with the words of Li speaking in such conviction, the message is definitely brought across exceptionally well.
